During this unsettling time, we want to assure our clients that Castle Vets will remain open to provide healthcare for your pets when you need us most.
OUR COVID 19 PROTOCOLS
- We are continually updating our clinic protocols, taking on board the updated public health guidelines to ensure the safety of our clients and our staff.
- As our pets will continue to need healthcare throughout the Covid 19 pandemic, we have put new measures in place to keep both you and your pet healthy. We have installed a viewing window in our consultation rooms whereby pet owners can now attend consultations whilst still conforming to social distancing rules. Our pet owners will now be able to listen, view, and comment throughout the consultation process from the adjacent room.
- If requested, we still have the option of taking your pet into the clinic for examination while you wait outside.
- We will continue to spread out our appointment slots to limit the number of people waiting at any given time.
- Please do not arrive at the clinic without ringing first. We ask all our pet owners to ring ahead to book appointments, collect medications or to simply ask for advice. All food and medication must be ordered in advance and a collection time arranged.
- On arrival at the clinic please follow our signs and stand at the designated Qsafe markers near the main door. There will be a hand sanitiser at the entrance to the building, and all people entering the building must use the dispenser before entry. We will only allow two people into the reception area at any one time.
- We kindly request that only one owner attends the clinic with their pet.
- We encourage all clients to use card payment facilities to limit handling of cash.
- As some of our clients may still be required to cocoon, we can arrange for medications including routine flea and worm treatments to be posted.
- Currently, our staff are working very hard to care for your pets so please be patient as our phone lines are very busy and everything is taking longer than usual.
